Education Ministry receives 37,000 job applications

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that over 37,000 applicants belonging various Arab nationalities have applied for academic, administrative and special education posts through its website between December 15 and to 31.The ministry said in a statement that its teams have started sorting the applications and the interview process is scheduled to take place in Qatar and in a number of Arab countries during this month and February.The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in mid-December, announced job openings in public schools for the academic year 2018/2019 for educational posts (males and females), administrative jobs (males only) and special education posts (males and females) as the number of candidates targeted is about 900 for the required positions.Working hours of Fahes centresWorking hours at Fahes (Woqod) centres in Wadi Al Banat (Duhail) and Mesaimeer will be from 7am until 10pm throughout the week, except on Fridays, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced on social media. This comes within the framework of easing procedures for the technical inspection and licensing of vehicles, the MoI said.
