Minister, HMC officials celebrate National Day with patients, staff

HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) acting chief medical officer Dr Abdulla al-Ansari and senior leaders from across the healthcare provider’s network of hospitals have celebrated Qatar National Day with patients and staff.

Led by the public relations team from its Corporate Communications Department, HMC’s network of hospitals and facilities has celebrated Qatar National Day with a series of events that reflect the country’s heritage, culture and traditions, HMC has said in a press statement. On the occasion, each hospital organised a number of events featuring traditional tents and activities, including henna drawing and handcrafted items. The staff members wore traditional clothing and served local delicacies, while traditional songs were played in celebration of the occasion.

Patients and staff across HMC’s network of hospitals and facilities were treated to three days of celebrations in recognition of Qatar National Day 2017.Decorated in accordance with this year’s theme - 'Promise of Prosperity and Glorytarget="_blank"'>
