Pak Shamaa win inter-school U-19 title

Bismillah and Ahmed Khan guided Pak Shamaa School to a 46-run victoryover Pakistan International School (PIS) in the final of the QatarInter-School Under-19 Cricket Tournament at the West Bay Grounds. Bismillah claimed three wickets for only nine runs in his four overs andAhmed Khan provided commendable support as he grabbed four wickets torestrict the rivals to 106 in 20 overs during their chase of a 153-runtarget. Haleem waged a lone battle to hold the PIS innings together with 41runs. Saud and Noman scored 19 and 14 runs, respectively. Bismillah wasdeclared the man of the final for his outstanding performance, whichincluded a catch as well. Earlier, Pak Shamaa School posted 152 runs in 25 overs as Hussain andIsmail scored 38 and 29 runs, respectively. Ahmed and Jassim also battedwell to contribute 26 runs each. M Khan claimed three wickets.
