QATAR | OfficialEmir condoles with Egyptian presidentHis Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sent yesterday a cable to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi expressing his condolences on the victims of the terrorist attack at a mosque in Northern Sinai, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the victims’ souls and rest them in the Paradise. The Emir wished a speedy recovery for the injured, and reiterated Qatar’s strong condemnation of this brutal crime, which is contrary to all religious and human values and principles. Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry reiterated its firm position against violence and terrorism regardless of its motives. It expressed condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and people of Afghanistan, and wished speedy recovery to the wounded.
