‘Case Day’ event sheds light on construction equipment

Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Heavy Equipment and Case Construction organised the ‘Case Day’ customer event in Doha recently.The event was held with the aim of ensuring brand awareness in Qatar’sconstruction sector and demonstrating how the right equipment couldfurther enhance productivity and increase profitability, according to astatement.Models from the Heavy Line and Compact Line were on display at theevent. These included Case 821F Wheel Loaders for the aggregate sector,SR150 and SR130 Skid Steer Loaders and 20-tonne and 37-tonne excavators.Also on display were Backhoe Loaders 570T and 580T and TelescopicHandlers TX170-45. “This line-up makes up a major portion of the earthmoving equipmentmarket in Qatar,” the statement noted, adding that the eventwalk-arounds demonstrated the efficiency of the machines and theirvarious features and benefits.Sheikh Khalid bin Nawaf al-Thani was present at the event and spent someof his time meeting with the customer base. Sheikh Khalid’s involvementgenerated goodwill and prospective customers were happy to spend a fewmoments with him. Representatives of Case from Italy and the Middle East regional officeinteracted with the client base and provided visitors with theopportunity to discuss in detail the productivity of Case equipment. Aprofessional trainer was flown in from Italy to educate the clients. A spare parts booth and heavy equipment service vans were on display at the venue. Eyad Rashid, general manager, Heavy Equipment Division, said: “We arealways willing to explore new ways to improve our relationship with thelocal client base. Our strength is our staff and this is what leads toour success.”Franco Invernizzi, Case’s regional director, added: “We are very pleasedto showcase our full range of construction machines for the second yearin a row in the Qatar market.”NBK Heavy Equipment is keen to play a positive role to “support theconstruction sector in Qatar by ensuring that equipment from Case isalways on stock for a wide range of requirements”,  the statement adds.
