Chance of light rain in parts of country

There is a chance of light rain in parts of the country today, the Qatar Met department has said.In a post on social media, the weather office said low-level clouds had been detected over some offshore areas lying to the north and east of Qatar yesterday. The cloud cover is likely to intensify today and the chances of rain will also improve.The detailed forecast for inshore areas today also says hazy to misty conditions are likely in some places in the early hours of the day, along with cloudy conditions at times.  Similar conditions, including light rain, are expected in offshore areas, too.Meanwhile, a minimum temperature of 16C is likely today in Abu Samra, while in Doha it will be 24C. The maximum, on the other hand, will be 30C in Mesaieed and Wakrah, and 29C in Doha.
