Al Meera Consumer GoodsCompany (Al Meera) has officially opened the doors of its new shoppingcentre in Umm Garn to consumers as part of ongoing efforts to bring itstrademark shopping experience to residents of all areas across thecountry.The opening took place in presence of Al Meera acting CEOCobus Lombard, Al Meera Deputy CEO Salah al-Hammadi, Al-Da’ayeenMunicipality director Mubarak al-Kuwari, and Municipal Council of theEighteenth Circuit member Mishal al-Nuaimi.The 2,453sqm shoppingcentre is designed to cater to the needs of customers, allowing spacefor a dedicated Al Meera Supermarket, seven retailers, and a food court.Al Meera said the shopping centre provides residents with all theirshopping needs under one roof.Al Meera Supermarket is equippedwith modern interior designs and shelving installations,state-of-the-art technologies and facilities, and popular freshcounters. Umm Garn residents will also benefit from a dedicatedbutchery, fishery, bakery, and delicatessen.Al-Hammadi said: “Aswith every new branch that Al Meera opens, the Umm Garn store isdesigned to exceed consumers’ expectations with a distinctive,integrated shopping experience that sets the benchmark for retail chainsacross the country.“This demonstrates our tangible contribution tothe real estate development of every neighbourhood in the country.
