Already assured of the prestigious year-ending number one, Rafael Nadal led the way in the latest men’s tennis rankings issued yesterday by the ATP.Spain’s Nadal takes 10,645 points into the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals in London which started on Sunday and bring together the eight best players of the year.Swiss rival Roger Federer is second on 9,005 and German hopeful Alexander Zverev a distant third in an unchanged top 10 on 4,410. The finalists in the ATP’s inaugural NextGen tournament slipped in the rankings because the event earned them no overall points. Hyeon Chung of South Korea, who won the under-21s event in Milan, slipped five places to 59th and beaten finalist Andrey Rublev of Russia slid two spots to 39th.Top 101.
