Textec event to celebrate 13 years in Qatar

Textec International will continue to provide its full support to the infrastructure development that is taking place in Qatar to make the 2022 FIFA World Cup “the most prestigious event of all time”, Textec US president and chief executive Sathyajith CP has said.Textec is a global leader in supply chain management with offices in Qatar and abroad.The company recently hosted a corporate event in Doha to celebrate 13 years of its presence in Qatar.Since 2005, Textec International has been supplying materials in Qatar for major projects that include the Hamad International Airport, Doha Festival City, and Sidra Medicine.US embassy senior commercial officer Ilona Shtrom opened the corporate event and lauded Textec International’s work and support for Qatar.Ryan El Zein from the US embassy was also in attendance.Textec global vice-president of business development (US), Simon Chacko, briefly explained the company’s strategic business plan and welcomed business partners and customers to future events in Qatar and the US.Textec International vice-president for Europe, Raman Sambasivan, thanked the Qatar management team – which comprises made business development managers Prakash Gopi and Sanish Sambasivan, and public relations officer Sayyid – for making the event a success.One of the highlights of the seminar was a live demonstration by Shaun Griffith, director of Flexmaster USA, known for their air distribution products in the HVAC industry.Textec International is the sole distributor for Flexmaster USA in the Middle East region.
