PM meets UN chief’s humanitarian envoy

HE the Prime Minister andMinister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thaniyesterday met UN Secretary-General’s Humanitarian Envoy, Dr Ahmed binMohamed al-Muraikhi. The Prime Minister reiterated to the UN envoyQatar’s commitment to supporting UN’s efforts in the field ofhumanitarian aid, particularly in conflict zones. The UN chief’shumanitarian envoy expressed his thanks and appreciation for Qatar’ssupport to the United Nations in assisting needy countries and itspledge for the Rohingya refugees during the conference that took placein Geneva earlier this month.
