Qatar delegation at World Health Summit

The State of Qatar participated in the World Health Summit in Berlinthis week with a delegation headed by HE the Minister of Public HealthDr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari. Dr al-Kuwari made a presentation at thediscussion session on health cities, saying that Qatar, like othercountries participating in the summit, faces a number of challengesrelated to lifestyle-related diseases, environmental risk factors andincreasing demand for healthcare. She also reviewed Qatar’s approach toimplementing the Qatar National Vision 2030, which considers health andeducation to be one of the priorities of the country, stressing that thenational vision is in line with the United Nations’ SustainableDevelopment Plan 2030.
