Emir accorded an official reception in Malaysia

His Majesty King Sultan Muhammad V of Malaysia and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razzak led well-wishers to welcome the Emir upon his arrival at the headquarters of the Parliament House. His Highness the Emir greets officials during the welcoming ceremony.The ceremony started with both Qatari and Malaysian national anthems before His Highness the Emir reviewed the guard of honour. A 21-gunshot salute was also fired during the ceremony.The Emir then shook hands with the Malaysian official delegation and senior officials and heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to Malaysia.The King of Malaysia and the Prime Minister also shook hands with the Qatari delegation.
