Defence Minister meets US special envoy

HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah yesterday met with Brett H McGurk, US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter IS. In a statement, the Directorate of Moral Guidance said the meeting discussed the developments in the region, reviewed efforts for countering IS and the international co-ordination to confront the threats it resembles to the security and stability in the region. The meeting also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
