Doha all set to host FINA/Airweave Swimming World Cup

South Africau2019s Chad Le Clos will be making a trip to Doha for the event.
Qatar Swimming Association has completed all preparations to host the5th round of the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup, which will be heldtomorrow and Thursday at Hamad Aquatics Center with the participation of153 swimmers from around the world.Delegations participating in the championship have started to arrive inDoha. The South African team was the first to arrive with their starswimmer Chad Le Clos. The Hungarian team, with the world championKatinka Hosszu, and teams of Russia, Germany, Jamaica, Poland, USA,Netherlands, Australia and Iran too have arrived. Some of the FINA boardmembers were received too. The rest of the delegations will be in Dohaby today.Qatar will be represented in the 5th FINA/Airweave Swimming World Cup by 12 swimmers.The FINA airweave Swimming World Cup 2017 includes eight legs in theMiddle East, Europe and Asia. This year, the competition kicked off onAugust 2 in Moscow and will conclude on November 19 in Singapore.Berlin, Hong Kong, Doha, Beijing, and Tokyo complete the list of hostcities for 2017.Le Clos claimed two silvers and a gold, in 50m butterfly, at the Hong Kong leg on Saturday.“That’s four years undefeated now in the 50m fly short course. The last time I lost was Doha 2013,” said Le Clos.
