Mitsubishi ASX recalled over safety concerns

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Qatar Automobiles Company, has announced the recall of Mitsubishi ASX models of 2011-2013 over probable defect of front windshield wiper motor. The event, organised by the European Union National Institutes for Culture cluster in Qatar, is celebrated in the country and around the world every September 26 to promote the cultural and linguistic diversity of Europe.Free and open to everyone, the celebration will allow the participants to attend several lively introductory classes of European languages of their choice (Bulgarian, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Swedish).MEC approved 37 promos last monthThe Ministry of Economy and Commerce has released its monthly report on special licenses (discounts and promotions) issued in August 2017. The report said 37 licenses were issued for discounts. A total of 400 licenses for promotions were issued in August including Swipe and Win; prize draws; special offers and promotional offers. A total of 72 promotional offer licenses were granted for companies selling goods in malls and retail shops while 317 licenses were granted for special offers including new prices; buy one, get one for free; and buy one, get the second one half price.  The report added 11 licenses were granted for prize draws in August.Community houseIndian embassy will hold the monthly community house on September 28 (Thursday) between 3pm and 4pm. At the hour-long session, the ambassador and other embassy officials will listen to/redress any urgent labour and consular issues of the Indian nationals living in Qatar.
