Queen opens new Queensferry Crossing

Queen Elizabeth cuts the ribbon during the official opening ceremony for the Queensferry Crossing, a new road bridge spanning the Firth of Forth from Queensferry to North Queensferry, in Queensferry, west of Edinburgh, yesterday. The new crossing is the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world, and unlike the existing bridge, is expected to remain open in all weathers.
