A former German nurse serving a life sentence for murdering patients is suspected of killing 84 further people by injecting them with heart medication, investigators said Monday.A court order to exhume scores of former patients of the suspect - named only as Niels H in accordance with German privacy law – found traces of the medication in 84 cases, they said during a press conference.Last summer, police and prosecutors concluded that the man had killed 33 patients at a hospital in Oldenburg in northern Germany and that he had done so out of a desire to win approval by taking heroic measures trying to resuscitate them.He injected patients with a drug that shut down their cardiovascular systems.
