Afghan minister praises Emir’s call for dialogue

This came in a meeting Rabbani held withQatar’s non-resident ambassador to Afghanistan Saqr bin Mubarak al-Mansouri. The ambassador briefed the minister on the latest developments in the crisis and the illegal measures taken by the four countries that imposed the siege on Qatar and its humanitarian and social consequences. The crisis between the brotherly Gulf states hurts us and saddens us, Erdogan said in a speech to the Higher Education Conference in Islamic Countries in Ankara, stressing that the Islamic civilisation is based on brotherhood, solidarity and cohesion among Muslims. As for developments in Jerusalem, Erdogan said that “Israel’s removal of the electronic gates from Al-Aqsa Mosque is a correct step but not enough.”
