Workshop on role of road transport

A national workshop on the role of the TIR – International Road Transport – system in easing Customs procedures pertaining to the clearance of goods was held on July 17 and 18 in co-operation with the International Road Transport Union. Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Jamal, president, General Authority of Customs (GAC), opened the workshop that was held for the employees of GAC, Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar) and Qatar Chamber.
