HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad al-Thani has conveyed the condolences of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel on the death of former chancellor Helmut Kohl. HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad al-Thani also extended his condolences to the family of the deceased when he took part in the memorial ceremony held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France yesterday.
