Work in Mashaf and Wukair now complete

Infrastructural development works on more than 500 plots of land in Al Mashaf West and Al Wukair North citizens’ sub-divisions projects are now complete and expected to be delivered by the end of this year, according to Ashghal.As part of the two projects, which together are implemented at a cost of over QR1.2bn, works of a total of 1,829 plots need to be completed.Ashghal has also said 91% of the road and infrastructure development projects in Al Mashaf (package 1), are now complete. The project consists of 1,886 plots, and aims to turn Al Mashaf West area into a sustainable residential zone.The Al Mashaf project includes the construction of a local roads network with a total of 70km, which includes 92 main and local streets. The place has 13 signalised intersections, of which three are major interchanges. More than 76% of the roads and other infrastructural development works in Al Wukair North are now complete. The project serves 643 plots and has 23km of local roads and eight signalised intersections among others.As part of the citizens sub-division programmes, covering 13 projects, infrastructural developmental works on about 10,400 plots need to be completed. It is hoped that infrastructural development works to 1,303, 2,511, 2,487 and 2,270 plots of land will be completed in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, respectively.
