Ooredoo drew crowds with a special Garangao celebration at Souq Waqif this weekend by distributing special goody bags to children. The Garangao bags, which were made by local craftswomen, included nuts, sweets and a greeting for the children from Ooroedoo. Talking about the event, Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Garangao is an amazing time for children during Ramadan and we wanted to make sure that children from across Qatar’s communities could enjoy the essence of the night. Once again, our Ooredoo volunteers showed the true Ramadan spirit and we thank everyone at Souq Waqif for coming to see us.”Ooredoo has encouraged people to check their Facebook page and tag themselves if they or their children attended the event. Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Ramadan Hand-in-Hand campaign via its Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #ShareAMoment.
