Goic chief visits Qatar Leadership Academy

Goic secretary general Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Ageel and QLA director Brigadier General Ali Ahmed al-Kuwari exchange tokens of appreciation during a visit at the QLA premises recently.
The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (Goic) has delivered an overview of its activities that support the region’s industrial sector during a recent visit to Qatar Leadership Academy (QLA).Goic secretary general Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Ageel, who was welcomed by QLA director Brigadier General Ali Ahmed al-Kuwari, discussed the organisation’s programmes’ events, initiatives, and its role in providing statistical data and information on the industrial sector in GCC states. Al-Ageel noted that Goic “is perceived as a main source of industrial, economic, and social information in the region”. He also lauded QLA “for its role in preparing leaders of the future who protect and further the civilisation of their homeland”.Similarly, al-Kuwari delivered a presentation on the academy’s vision and mission, as well as an overview of its different departments and programmes. He stressed that QLA seeks continuous development to address and provide students’ needs, and fully serve the local community under QLA’s three pillars, academic development, scientific research, and local community service.The meeting concluded with the exchange of tokens of appreciation and a tour of the QLA’s academic building, student housing, barriers range, and the heritage council.Al-Ageel said: “I would like to thank the QLA administration and staff for their great efforts to develop the qualities of independence, innovation, and responsible thinking among students and prepare them to become leaders of their community.”
