Team Qatar is preparing to participate in the upcoming FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 2017 in Moscow, in the run up to the FIVB World Championships. The world championships will be held in Austria in July. Team Qatar delegation is scheduled to leave for Russia today to participate in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in Moscow. Team Qatar comprises Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, coach Mariano Barsiti and assistant coach Pablo Bernardi.Qatar qualify for FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup in MalaysiaThe Qatari youth basketball team qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2017 FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup. The tournament is being held in the Gem In Mall in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Qatar will take on the Philippines in the quarter-finals on Saturday. Earlier in the tournament, Qatar had defeated Lebanon 21-9 and then overpowered Bahrain 21-8 to lead their group. The Qatar squad comprises Al Haj Dodo, Al Haj Saeed, Nabil Abu Essa and Assem Waleed.Al Annabi line up for South Korea qualifierThe Qatari football team will resume their training sessions today in preparation for their match against South Korea in the qualifications for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Qatar are at the bottom of Group A with 4 points. Iran lead the group with 17 points.
