The Advisory Council’s Internal and External Affairs Committee held a meeting yesterday within its 45th ordinary session chaired by its rapporteur, Mohamed Abdullah al-Sulaiti. The committee examined a draft law of 2017 amending some provisions of Law No. (17) of 2002 on the protection of society. It also examined a draft law of 2017 amending certain provisions of the Decree Law No. (14) of 1993 on passports. The committee decided to approve the two draft laws as requested by the government.
