Bill Manager service now for all Vodafone postpaid users

Vodafone has announced that its Bill Manager service is now available for all its postpaid customers. Launched in January this year initially for Red Postpaid customers, the innovative product ensures customers never receive a shocking bill again. Bill Manager does this by automatically giving customers the benefits of the best local data or roaming products when they go out of bundle without customers having to activate those products in advance.“At Vodafone, we believe customers should always benefit from fair bills. Vodafone Bill Manager challenges the standard telecommunications practice of operators that expects customers to keep track of what is the best product to add, how to add it and when to add it. “Bill Manager does all of that without charging them anything extra and makes sure their bill is always optimised with no extra unnecessary charges,” said Mohamed al-Sadah, chief operating officer, Vodafone Qatar.“It is possible for a postpaid customer to be charged over QR1,000 for 1GB of out of bundle data in Qatar. Now with Bill Manager, this same customer will only ever pay QR70 for 6GB of extra data,” he added.For example, customers who start roaming in one of the 78 countries included in Vodafone Passport Pack and their roaming data or voice usage reaches QR100 which is the price of the Passport Pack, they will automatically receive 1GB data valid in 78 countries, 1GB additional data valid in the GCC countries and 100 roaming minutes valid for a week for absolutely no extra charge. If the customer consumes the data or minutes within a week, Bill Manager will give them the same benefits the moment their usage reaches another QR100 and so on.As another example of local usage if a customer consumes all of the local data allowance included in their plan and starts getting charged at the standard out of bundle rates then upon spending QR20, Bill Manager will automatically give the customer 250 MB without additional charges, which is equivalent to the benefit of a Smart Data Rate product. If the customer continues to consume local data and reaches QR70 in charges, Bill Manager will automatically add the benefit of QR70 mobile Internet pack which gives the customer 6GB data. Bill Manager continues tracking usage levels giving benefits of 10GB data when a customer reaches QR110 and so on for all mobile internet packs.Bill Manager will be available for free for all new postpaid customers and will be automatically added to existing postpaid customers from their next bill cycle. Bill Manager also keeps customers informed via timely SMS notifications about their savings and customers can also check My Vodafone App at any time to check how much extra value Bill Manager has given them.
