Heat spell to continue in Qatar on Saturday

Another hot day with a maximum temperature of 44C in Abu Samra has been forecast for Saturday by the Qatar Met department.A minimum temperature of 26C is expected on Saturday, that too at Abu Samra, according to the weather office.Doha is to maintain a high of 41C, followed by 38C at Mesaieed, Wakrah, Al Khor, Dukhan and Ruwais.The minimum temperature at other areas are 27C – Ruwais, Dukhan; 29C – Al Khor; 30C – Mesaieed, Wakrah; and 31C – Doha.Inshore, a southeasterly – southerly wind is forecast to blow between six and 16 knots, reaching 20 knots at places at times. The offshore, southeasterly wind forecast is 5-15 knots, reaching 18 knots at places at times.
