About 3,000 employees from various divisions of Almuftah Group participated in employee recognition day organised by the company in Wukair Labour Camp to mark International Labour Day.The event aimed at giving recognition to staff and labourers who have served 20 to 40 years with the company, as well as honours for best performing divisions of the group.The awards went to various divisions of Almuftah Group, including Electronics and Appliances, English Modern School, Almuftah Fiberglass, Almuftah Polymer, Almuftah Cargo and Logistics, Edumax School Supplies, Window Film and Car Accessories, Anytime Fitness, and 13 other divisions. The awards included Collection and Customer Service Award, Successful Business Relationship Award, Customer Satisfaction Award, Pioneer Business Award, Leadership Award, SME Award, and others.Those present at the ceremony included Ibrahim Almuftah, managing director of Almuftah Group; Khalid Almuftah, finance director; V K C Chowdhry, group finance controller; Mounir Ourfali, general manager for manufacturing; Basel Srour, senior division manager at Almuftah Trading; V S Mannangi, division manager of Almuftah Contracting (civil) division; Tarek Shehab, division manager Almuftah Carpentry; Rami Yarvas, human resources manager, and other company executives.During the event, Ibrahim Almuftah stated that “indeed it is a great day to meet all Almuftah Group managers, staff, and labourers. We believe this recognition will help in inspiring you to continue your commendable work.”Yarvas said that the event was intended to show appreciation for employees’ dedication to the company. “Spending two decades or more, is such a lifetime commitment.
