Emir visits Doha Metro project in West Bay

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani visited the Doha Metro project in West Bay on Thursday to inspect the progress on infrastructure projects in Qatar.

HH the Emir was briefed on the project's models and images. He viewed models of the Doha Metro and Lusail Light Rail Transit and its various sections - such as the First Golden Class "Golden" Cabin, the Family Cabin and the Standard Class.The Emir was briefed on the designs of trains, passenger services and safety and security equipment.He also visited the Education Centre of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which educates school students and encourages them to make optimal use of these modern modes of transportation.During the visit, the Emir was given a presentation on the Public Works Authority (Ashghal)target="_blank"'>
