Where’s the cosmetic?

Katrina Kaif is making news for some not so nice reasons. She has never really been one to court controversy on account of her actions but that seems to changing now. Or at least if you believe the recent rumours about her. There is first of all her insistence to Anurag Basu, her director in Jagga Jasoos, that he should not go ahead with a poster of the movie that reportedly shows her and its hero, Ranbir Kapoor, close together. This is obviously because of their break up but then the movie needs to be sold using the old tricks in the book and such conditions would impede its promotion strategy.   She also apparently wants a veto over other such decisions for the movie. And then there is the famous Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone cold war. A famous cosmetic brand, which has had Katrina as their face for some time now, decided to also get Deepika on board as their brand ambassador. Miffed at that, Katrina is said to have broken her tie-up with them. The stated excuse she gave was that she was planning to launch her own cosmetic line. But it has been some time since then and there has been no sign of her brand or any indication that she was even working towards that end. One news report, quoting sources close to her, said that she would launch the brand at her own sweet time, because she wanted to get it exactly right. And that she was hard at work now, looking into the various aspects of what her cosmetics line should be like.
