Artists gathered at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday for the launch of its ‘Creative Conversation for Artists’ programme. Scheduled on the second Tuesday of every month, the programme brings together artists of different backgrounds and age groups in Qatar and provides them with a space to network, showcase their work and latest projects and discuss their careers, inspirations and practices in the art field. The event, organised under the patronage of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums, highlights Mathaf’s commitment to exploring artistic production and developing programmes that stimulate creativity and develop an engaged and inspired cultural audience.
