Tim Hortons cafe opens at Ezdan Mall in Al Wakrah

Apparel Group has announced the opening of the first Tim Hortons café at Ezdan Mall in Al Wakrah. Spread over an area of 1,000sq ft, Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop is located on the mall’s ground floor. It is the first of the 31 stores to be opened by Apparel Group at the mall, according to a statement.Ezdan Holding said other well-known brands such as Starbucks and Shake Shack were also expected to open soon.The mall will also include branches of some of the most popular brands in the region such as LC Waikiki, H&M, American Eagle Outfitters, MAC Cosmetics and Bath & Body Works, among others.Besides, Ezdan Mall will also offer a great dining experience with its outdoor food court and cafés offering a variety of food and beverage choices.In December, Carrefour Hypermarket opened its doors in the presence of Ezdan Holding Group CEO Ali al-Obaidli, Ezdan Mall Company Group general manager Malik Qaiser, and representatives of the Carrefour management in Qatar. This is the second co-operation deal between Ezdan Holding Group and Majid Al Futtaim Group.Qaiser said: “We are delighted to partner with Tim Hortons, one of the most popular brands in Canada. This is our second collaboration after their success in Ezdan Mall in Al Gharafa. Soon, we are expecting the opening of the region’s most favourite children’s edutainment centre, Fun Ville, at Ezdan Mall in Al Wakrah.”“We have inked pacts with renowned brands, cafés and restaurants in the world to offer unparalleled services and entertainment experience for our visitors and cater to the needs of families in Qatar and their diverse tastes.”Qaiser said that once fully operational, Ezdan Mall Al Wakrah will be the largest of its kind in the area. “The mall will enhance the services in the Al Wakrah community because it hosts 167 outlets of various products and services.” The mall is characterised by its modern urban design and consists of two floors with parking for over 1,500 cars.
