Babyshop, a leading one-stop destination for children's products in the region, has held the second season of Expressions, a drawing competition for children aged between five and 14 years. Presented by Babyshop Qatar, the event saw the participants being divided into three age categories and covered a range of themes, from ‘My family’ and ‘Save water’ to ‘Global warming’.
It was conducted over three sessions and received more than 4,000 entries, according to a press statement from the organisers. The registration process was managed through the Shukran Facebook page with the link http://bit.ly/bsexpressions. “The event, too, was well managed by the team at Landmark Group. Kids and parents came in together and had a great day out,” the statement noted.
An entertainment area was set up with surprises and gifts, and children also enjoyed healthy snacks and received free shopping vouchers as part of the event.

This competition provided an excellent platform for kids to explore and pursue their creativity and I would specially like to thank all the parents who made the efforts and encouraged their kids to participate in this. The event will be concluded with the announcement of results on April 7 at Al Asmakh Mall, Al Sadd. In each category, the first three place winners will be awarded while all other participants will receive a participation certificate.
