Cables of condolences to Russian president

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday sent cables of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the victims of the explosion on St Petersburg Metro in Russia, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. HH the Emir expressed his strong condemnation of this criminal act, stressing Qatar’s solidarity with Russia in countering extremism and terrorism. HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
