A Doha Criminal Court has fined a GCC man QR10,000 for causing the death of a girl, who was riding pillion on his quad bike at the Sealine Area, and ordered him to pay a blood money of QR200,000 to the victim's legal heirs, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported.

He was convicted of reckless driving. The defendant failed to ensure the safety of his companion. As he was speeding, his quad bike crashed into another vehicle and the girl was thrown off in the impact of the crash, eyewitnesses told the court.
