Meat with manipulated expiry labels seized

Doha Municipality's Health Control Section seized 2,500kg of meat, in the form of carcasses, from a storehouse at the Industrial Area, for manipulating the expiry date. The original information labels on the carcasses were found replaced with new ones with extended expiry date. The seized carcasses were destroyed and the storehouse issued a violation report in accordance with the stipulation of law no 9 for 1990 on the Regulation of Human Food Control.
