The Hurricanes celebrate their win in the National Sport Day-Woqod Beach Touch Rugby final at Katara on Tuesday. The Hurricanes beat Al Khor 1-0 in the final. Newly-formed Katara Wolves put in a sterling effort to take out the Plate finals. As many as 16 teams participated in the event, which saw 32 matches. Qatar Rugby Federation (QRF) expressed gratitude to main sponsor Woqod, and thanked The Coffee Brewer, Al Saaqee Water, Amwaj and Nada for their support.Picture at right: Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) president Yousef al-Kuwari inaugurates the Youth Cricket Academy in the presence of QCA Operations manager Manzoor Ahmad and other officials on National Sport Day (NSD) on Tuesday.
