‘NSD reflects interest in values of sport’

HE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali said Qatar has established a unique date for community sport by making the National Sport Day (NSD) as the country seeks to give priority to the health of the people and to promote community values. The minister said in a statement the NSD, which Qatar will observe on Tuesday, is keenly awaited awaited by all members of the society – youngsters, old people, men and women. The second Tuesday of February each year has become a chance to express the extent of community involvement in the sports, the minister noted.
