Court defers hearing in Salman blackbuck case

Bollywood celebrities Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and others allegedly involved in the 1998 blackbuck poaching couldn’t make it to a Jodhpur court yesterday. The hearing was deferred to tomorrow. The actors cited security reasons for their absence from the court. The chief judicial magistrate (CJM) was to record the statement of Salman, Saif, actresses Neelam Kothari, Tabu and Sonali Bendre as well as a local resident, Dushyant Singh.
