Qatar win West Asian women handball title

Qatar women’s handball team beat Jordan 22-19 to win the title at the inaugural West Asian Women’s Handball Championship 2016 in Doha on Monday.At  the victory ceremony, Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) vice president Sheikh Saud bin Ali al-Thani and Asian Handball Federation (AHF) executive director Dr Ahmed Abu-Alail crowned the Qatari side in a glittering ceremony.Qatar Women Sport Committee (QWSC) chairperson Ahlam al-Mane and Qatar Handball Association (QHA) secretary general Mohamed  Jaber al-Mulla crowned the runner-up team. The  event was organised by the Qatar Women Sport Committee in  collaboration with  the Qatar Handball Association under the supervision of Asian Handball Federation.
