Due to the Eid al-Adha travel rush, Hamad International Airport (HIA) has advised departing passengers to arrive at the airport three hours before the flight “to enjoy a comfortable and seamless journey”.The HIA advisory said the rush is expected to continue until September 14.“To enjoy a comfortable and seamless journey, be sure to check in online, arrive three hours prior to your flight and use the E-gates to avoid queues,” HIA has said, reminding passengers that check-in would close 60 minutes prior to departure.People who are dropping off or collecting passengers have been advised to use the short-term car park, which offers complimentary parking for the first 30 minutes and costs QR5 per hour thereafter.Passengers also have the option of parking their vehicles at the airport’s long-term car park, which provides them with a regular shuttle service to the main terminal every 15-20 minutes.   For assistance during travel and updates on deals and offers, one can download the HIAQatar App available for both Android and iPhone.
