Six-month long traffic diversion in Western Industrial Area

A six-month long traffic diversion will be in place between Street 15 and 33 in the Western Industrial Area starting from Friday (September 2).
Traffic would be diverted to a parallel street with two lanes in each direction, and a roundabout built on West Industrial Street to get access to the local areas and also to help commuters take U-turns.
The diversion is part of the upgrading works being done in the Doha’s Industrial Area Package 1. The work will increase the capacity of roads, in addition to providing the Industrial Area with a full integrated infrastructure.
