Clean-up drive

The Beaches and Islands section at the Public Cleaning Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment conducted a number of cleaning campaigns last week at the port and beaches of the country. These included  Al Safliya Island and the navigation port, in addition to Doha Corniche by the Museum of Islamic Art. All the refuse materials were removed. The abandoned boats at Al Wakrah Port were removed in co-operation with the department concerned.
