President pays tributes at Bangabandhu museum

President Abdul Hamid visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital yesterday afternoon.Curator of the museum Nazrul Islam Khan received the president when he reached the museum premises at Dhanmondi Road No 32 along with his two sons and grandchildren. He placed floral wreaths in front of the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman inside the museum and stood in solemn silence as a mark of respect to the architect of Bangladesh.A special prayer was offered seeking divine blessings of Bangabandhu and his family members who were assassinated on August 15 in 1975.President Hamid also went round different areas of the museum. Bangabandhu Museum President Hashem Khan and member- secretary of the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust Sheikh Hafizur Rahman accompanied President Hamid during the visit.
