Farewell ceremony

The Diplomatic Corps in Qatar has hosted a farewell ceremony in honour of Greek ambassador Ioannis Metaxas on the occasion of the end of his tenure. The gathering at the Diplomatic Club was attended by Abdulaziz al-Neamah, deputy director of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, dean of the Diplomatic Corps, alongside a number ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions. In his address, the Greek ambassador highlighted positive developments achieved in Qatar-Greece relations, noting that he had been keen to further enhance the ties.
