Dates festival to conclude on Sunday

The Local Dates Festival 2016 organised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in collaboration with Souq Waqif will conclude on Sunday.According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment yesterday, 45,612kg of dates have been sold so far during the 18-day festival.There is a huge demand for dates produced by local farms, the Ministry added.
