Fire at under-construction building

A fire broke out at an under-construction building in the Bin Mahmoud area of Doha early yesterday morning. The fire was contained by Civil Defence personnel and no one was injured in the incident, the Ministry of Interior informed in a tweet around 6.30am. Earlier, some residents tweeted that plumes of smoke could be seen from the Jaidah flyover and Ramada signal areas.Picture: Lucas Lilieholm/Twitter
