Emir holds talks with Colombian president

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos holding official talks at the Presidential Palace in Bogota yesterday. Members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir and a number of Colombian ministers and senior officials attended the talks. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to promote them, especially on investment and energy. The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues. The Emir and President Santos attended the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Qatar and Colombia. Earlier, HH the Emir was accorded an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace.
