Ministry announces GSSC first round examination results

HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi yesterday endorsed the results of the first round of examinations of the General Secondary School Certificate (GSSC) for the academic year 2015/2016. The Director of the Evaluation Institute of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Khalid al-Harqan congratulated the outstanding students, and the schools that have achieved high levels of excellence. Speaking at a press conference after the endorsement of the results, al-Harqan said that the success rate in schools reached 68.8%, while in adult education it was 17.3%, and in religious institute the success rate was 75%. The Rate of success at Qatar Secondary Technical School for boys was 75.9%, and at Qatar Secondary School for Banking Business studies for Boys it was 86.7%, he added.
