Qatar archer Ibraheem to compete in World Cup

Antalya, Turkey: Qatar’s Ibraheem al-Mohannadi has qualified for stage 3 of the Archery World Cup 2016, the qualifying round for the Rio Olympics. The competition started on Sunday and will be held till June 19, with the participation of 220 athletes.Al-Mohannadi concluded his final training session at the Lusail Shooting Complex. Al-Mohannadi underwent an intensive training camp in Korea last month, where he took part in friendly competitions which had a big role in improving his performance.Al-Mohannadi said that tournament in Turkey will be a challenging one and that all the participants will be seeking to secure a spot for Rio Olympics, which will be held in August. He added that it is a great opportunity for him to compete against the world finest archers.
